I believe that we should protest and take direct action to end all war because peace is the only state in which we can collectively flourish. I also think that universal health care, a living wage, better and more affordable housing for all, a socialized child care system, free higher education for all people, electoral reform, reform of our legal/penal system, and finding serious solutions to solve the various environmental crises our species has created should be at the forefront of every politician's agenda (and if not, we the people should be pressuring them to care about such things). I also am anti-capitalist, pro-syndicalism, and pro-democracy just in case you were wondering.

I know how serious that all sounded, but I'm really not that serious all the time. I think that laughter is an essential part of life, and in the right company I will laugh until my stomach hurts. I also don't think adults spend enough time playing--I like board games, and toys like legos, and blowing soap bubbles. I have a tendency to daydream and get lost in my own thoughts, so if I look far away or get really quiet it's probably because I am. Astronomy is one of my biggest passions. I'm constantly reading and watching everything I can about it. It's absolutely the most fascinating thing on the planet for me. Well... it's not exactly on the planet... that's kind of the whole point. Never mind, you get it.

I have a passion for life, and love sharing pieces of it with other *humans*. Aristic, nature loving, freak with a well developed intellectual side and a sometimes sic sense of humor. Ok...not really sic* but funny. Read, music, movies, yup I like them all. Also like a moonlit night in the hotspring, a night with a friend in a jazz club or just sitting on the porch in the morning with a good cup of coffee. I am interested in those who believe in sustainable practices and intentinal community and have an appreciation for their spiritual side...however they choose to practice/not practice it. I spend part of each summer making art on the playa, (if you think that has something to do with Mexico you might want to drive on thru). I'm playful in many forms, I like games with boards, not games with drama...and at least once a week someone says "you don't look your age...or act it" whatever do they mean?

update: just spent several days in on of my favorite places, without the ususal crowd. I really discovered the austere beauty draws me even closer in. I will be back!
